Supporting Play at Home
In collaboration with the Regina Early Years Family Resource Centre, and made possible by a grant from the University of Regina Community Engagement and Research Centre, student researcher Whitney Blaisdell of Project Play YQR conducted a study on how the COVID-19 pandemic has affected play and how organizations can support play at home. Whitney worked with participants to explore what barriers and facilitating factors have come up due to physical distancing in our communities.
The research findings have informed the services offered at the Regina Early Years Family Resource Centre. Whitney Blaisdell has produced several resources based on the findings of this work are available below:
